Saturday night, hundreds of people of all ages joined their friends and neighbors for the second annual “Taste of Town” on South Main Street in Historic Downtown Del Rio. Among the attractions were numerous local eating establishments offer select samplings from their menus, Texas Country music by the South First Band and good times.

We took time out from grazing the food booths to talk with the band and later with Main Street Association chairperson Shannon Brown. The event was hosted by the Main Street Assoc. to raise money for their signage fund.
