The Top Web Sites of Southwest Texas

Bogus statistics and bloated boasts of market share by anyone are about to be a thing of the past if Internet startup Quantcast—a new media measurement service that lets advertisers view audience reports on millions of websites—continues to grow the way it has been. Its concept is to provide universal transparency to advertisers and publishers about the true readership of individual Web sites.

LIVE! Magazine gains statewide recognition

LIVE! entered the 2006 awards competition when the publication was only six months old. Southwest Texas LIVE! Statement of Editorial Policy

Southwest Texas LIVE! strives to inform readers with meaningful content, pertinent to subjects of regional and community interest. Not surprisingly, the time has come when we need a few game rules to stay on point with the interactivity of the Web site, so the company's editorial board considered problem areas it is hoped that we and our readers will avoid for the protection of this increasingly popular communications vehicle.

LIVE! blows the doors off its first audit

There is no doubt that Southwest Texas LIVE! has tens of thousands of readers. We have over 57,000 readers per month to be exact. Our audit found that each copy of LIVE! is passed around 2.1 times. But that is not the whole story. Our audit found that LIVE!’s combination of the reach of direct mail coupled with the frequency of the Internet created a marketing powerhouse in less than nine months. This is a medium that eclipses all other traditional media options. Move over long-in-the-tooth (and boring) newspapers and radio. There’s a new sheriff in town. If you ever wondered who else is reading LIVE!, click on this story and find out.

LIVE! in Print undergoes circulation audit

LIVE! reaches into places where local newspapers, radio, and television don’t. It also gives all of our advertisers regional reach within a market area without the advertiser having to purchase additional air times or newspaper inches. What is more, the LIVE! circulation is TEN TIMES the local paper, and in a convenient monthly circulation cycle that is easier to digest for busy professionals.
